Citizens Bank PLC appointed Mr. Md. Abdul Latif as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the Bank. Prior to joining Citizens Bank, Mr. Latif served as Senior Executive Vice President at Bank Asia PLC.

With over 28 years of experience in the banking sector, Mr. Latif has developed expertise with various leadership positions in prominent financial institutions in Bangladesh throughout his widespread banking career as Zonal Head and Head of Branch. He joined as a Probationary Officer at National Bank Ltd. in 1997 and subsequently served in key roles at Premier Bank PLC. and Bank Asia PLC. His diverse experience encompasses serving as Head of different important branches and Zonal Head of Bank Asia PLC.

Mr. Latif is a seasoned professional who has consistently sought to enhance his expertise through participation in numerous training programs and workshops, both domestically and internationally at home and abroad. He completed his M. Com in Management from the University of Dhaka.
