5th Annual General Meeting of Citizens Bank PLC was held on June 14, 2026 at Citizens Bank Head Office in Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb, Chairman, Board of Directors of the bank. Among the Directors, Mr. Masuduzzaman, Mr. Mukhlesur Rahman, Mr. S. M. Shofiqul Hoq, Independent Directors, Mr. N K A Mobin, FCA, FCS and Mr. AKM Shahidul Haque attended the meeting. Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of the bank was also present. Demonstrating strong and sustainable growth, Citizens Bank achieved remarkable financial results in 2025. Operating profit rose by 21%, deposits grew by 30%, and advances grew by 34%. The Bank also maintained an exceptionally low Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio of just 0.20%, reflecting its prudent risk management and sound asset quality.
