Citizens Bank PLC. organized its Quarterly Business Review Meeting of March 2026 on April 4, 2026 at its Head Office at Motijheel, Dhaka to assess the performance of first quarter of 2026 and set strategy for addressing current business challenges and meeting business targets for the remaining time of 2026. Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of the Bank presided over the meeting. During the session, a comprehensive review of first quarter’s business performance was conducted, highlighting key achievements as well as areas requiring improvement. The participants also engaged in detail discussions on the prevailing macroeconomic conditions, challenges and potential impact on the banking sector. Emphasis was placed on adopting proactive measures, strengthening risk management practices and enhancing operational efficiency to navigate the current economic situation. The meeting concluded with a strong focus on actionable strategies to achieve business targets of the remaining nine months, with all concerned encouraged to remain resilient, innovative and committed to overcoming challenges and sustaining the Bank’s growth momentum. Special focused was placed on the growth of SME, agriculture and priority sectors to contribute to the country’s economic growth.
