Citizens Bank PLC. recently signed an agreement with the Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC. (DESCO) at DESCO Head Office at Nikunja-2, Dhaka. In presence of Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC. and Brigadier General Shameem Ahmed, ndc, psc (Retd.), Managing Director of Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC. Mr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC. and Mr. Engr. S. M Shah Sultan, Superintend Engineer (Company Secretary) of Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Mr. Md. Abdul Latif, Deputy Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC., Mr. A Z M Sharjil Hasan, Executive Director, Finance & Accounts, Mr. Md. Mominul Islam, General Manager, Finance & Accounts, Mr. Md. Manhaj Uddin, Deputy General Manager, Finance & Accounts, Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC. along with other senior officials from both organizations were also present on the occasion. Under this agreement, Citizens Bank PLC. will facilitate the collection of DESCO electricity bills through its branches, sub-branches and digital banking platforms across the country, ensuring a convenient, secure and seamless payment experience.
