On the occasion of 48th martyrdom anniversary of father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman; Mr. Mohammad Masoom, Managing Director & CEO of Citizens Bank along with the members of senior management paid profound tribute by placing flower wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the Mujib Corner of the bank.
A discussion meeting was also arranged at Head office premises commemorating the martyrdom anniversary chaired by Mr. Mohammad Masoom, Managing Director & CEO in presence of the members of senior management team. The attendees in the meeting recalled the enormous contributions and sacrifices made by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and all other martyred members of the family to the cause of emergence of Bangladesh as an independent country on the world map.
As part of observing national mourning day 2023 a tree plantation Program was arranged at Dhaka College premises. Mr. Mohammad Masoom, MD & CEO of the bank inaugurated the tree plantation program in presence of Prof. Mohammad Yousuf, Principal, Dhaka College and senior teachers of the college as well as senior officials of the bank.
Besides, a dua mahfil and food distribution program for the orphans were also arranged on the occasion.
